The Victorian Liberal Party has endorsed Bree Ambry as the Liberal candidate for Frankston ahead of the state election on Saturday, 28 November 2026.
Ambry is a former nurse who now works as a health operations manager. Her public biography says she has spent more than 20 years volunteering, particularly through lifesaving and sporting clubs. She currently serves on the board of the Southern Football Netball League.
“I’m honoured to have been endorsed as your Liberal candidate for Frankston,” Ambry said.
“I’m a mum, a former nurse and now a health operations manager. I’ve patrolled our beaches, served on sporting club committees and spent years working alongside people who make our community stronger.”
In announcing her endorsement, Ambry named healthcare, road conditions, community safety, school infrastructure, pressure on small businesses and the cost of living as key local issues.
Liberal Candidate for Frankston Outlines Priorities
Since her endorsement, Ambry said she and her campaign team had started speaking with residents across Frankston.
“You’re telling us that crime and public safety are major concerns. Small businesses are finding it harder to stay open. Our schools need better infrastructure. And for too many families, simply putting food on the table is becoming more difficult.”
Drawing on her health background, Ambry said she understood the importance of quality healthcare. She also linked poorly maintained roads to safety risks, vehicle damage and pressure on local families and businesses.
Ambry said she was proud to campaign as part of Opposition Leader Jess Wilson’s team. She said the Liberals would campaign for “a safer, stronger and more prosperous Frankston”.
