
Police have arrested a man after a Mornington assault left another man fighting for life on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to Cooba Court about 3.40pm on 4 August after receiving reports of a seriously injured man outside a property.
Paramedics treated the 41-year-old man at the scene before taking him to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Responding officers cordoned off the area and arrested a 35-year-old man shortly afterwards.
Police plan to interview the man in relation to the incident. Victoria Police did not announce any charges in its statement on Tuesday night.
Investigators believe the two men knew each other.
Detectives from the Mornington Peninsula Crime Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault.
Major Crime Scene Unit officers will examine the scene as part of the investigation.
