Two Days Left To Have A Say On Frankston Youth Plan

Young people in Frankston have two days left to help shape the city’s next five-year youth plan, with feedback closing on 31 May.

Frankston young people have until 31 May to provide feedback on council’s Youth Action Plan 2027–2031.

Young people in Frankston have two days left to help shape the city’s next five-year youth plan.

Frankston City Council is asking people aged 12 to 24 who live, study, work or spend time in Frankston to help guide its Youth Action Plan 2027–2031.

Feedback closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 31 May, giving readers until the end of the weekend to take part.

Council says the plan will guide youth programs, services, activities, funding priorities and advocacy over the next five years.

The survey asks young people what matters to them, what support they need and how council can improve life for young people across Frankston.

Possible issues include youth spaces, events, safety, mental health, housing, jobs, training, transport and access to services.

Parents, carers, teachers, youth workers and community members can also provide feedback, although council says young people’s views will remain the focus.

What Happens Next

Council says feedback will help shape a draft plan in June.

Frankston’s Youth Council will review the draft between June and July before the final plan goes to council for adoption in November.

Council says it will also report back to the community within four weeks of engagement closing.

Young people who complete the survey can enter a draw to win a PlayStation 5.

Council is also running a Through Your Eyes photography competition, asking young people to submit photos showing places, issues or ideas that matter to them in Frankston.

Council says selected photos may appear in the final Youth Action Plan.

Frankston City Council’s main project page says consultation runs from 17 April to 31 May 2026. However, the linked survey page lists 28 May 2026 as the survey closing date. Residents should check the Engage Frankston page for the latest survey status.
