Man Dies Following Two-Car Collision on Nepean Highway in Seaford

A man has died in hospital following a two-car collision on Nepean Highway in Seaford. Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage of a white Holden Captiva.

A man has died following a two-car collision on Nepean Highway in Seaford.

Police said the vehicles collided near Station Street shortly after 2.30pm on Monday, 27 July.

Paramedics took the male driver of one vehicle to hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 64-year-old Frankston East woman, was also taken to hospital.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives expect to interview the woman as part of their investigation.

Police want to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or saw a white Holden Captiva station wagon travelling along Nepean Highway before the crash.

Investigators have also asked anyone with dashcam footage or information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online.

The investigation remains ongoing.
