Victoria Police have charged two teenage boys over three alleged robberies targeting four boys in Mornington.
Police allege the pair threatened a 15-year-old boy with a knife on Main Street on 7 July, stole his shoes and forced him to transfer money.
The next day, they allegedly robbed two 14-year-old boys near Main Street and Nepean Highway, stealing a puffer jacket, shoes and a necklace.
Police also allege one of the teenagers threatened another 14-year-old boy on a Main Street bus on 10 July.
None of the alleged victims suffered physical injuries.
Detectives Arrest Two Teenagers
Mornington Peninsula Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested the boys, aged 16 and 17, at their homes on 21 July.
Police charged the 16-year-old with armed robbery, robbery, committing an indictable offence while on bail and possessing cannabis. A court remanded him in custody.
The 17-year-old was charged with armed robbery and possessing cannabis. A court granted him bail.
Both boys live in the Mornington Peninsula area and will appear before a children’s court at a later date.
