Two Men Arrested Following Alleged Road Rage Incident in Seaford

Two men arrested after allegedly targeting a Porsche in a road rage incident in Seaford. Police pursuit ends with arrests in Aspendale.

Two men have been arrested following an alleged road rage incident that unfolded late Tuesday night in Melbourne’s south-east.

Victoria Police say the incident occurred about 11:50pm on 24 June, when the driver of a Porsche was travelling along Nepean Highway in Seaford. The man was allegedly confronted by the occupants of a blue Holden Commodore, who attempted to force him off the road.

The Porsche driver took evasive action and exited the highway to avoid a collision. The Commodore was later located by police at a service station in Chelsea.

According to police, the Commodore fled the scene when officers attempted to intercept it. A brief pursuit was terminated, and a cordon was established. Officers successfully deployed tyre deflation devices on Station Street in Edithvale.

The vehicle was eventually abandoned in Eulinga Avenue, Aspendale, where Air Wing, Dog Squad and Critical Incident Response Team members located two men allegedly hiding nearby.

A 20-year-old Cranbourne West man and a 19-year-old Carrum Downs man were arrested and interviewed by police. Both have been released pending further investigation.
