Mount Martha | 10 April 2025 — Police are investigating a burglary in Mount Martha that escalated into a frightening confrontation between a resident and an armed intruder.
The incident occurred about 9:30am on Wednesday, 10 April, at a residence on Bradford Drive. According to investigators, an unknown male offender gained entry to the home before being confronted by the resident a short time later.
During the encounter, the offender reportedly produced a weapon, prompting him to flee the scene. No injuries have been reported.
Detectives have since released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
