88-Year-Old Somerville Woman Dies After Fatal Mt Eliza Collision

An 88-year-old woman from Somerville has died after a single-vehicle crash on Wooralla Drive in Mount Eliza. Police are investigating the cause of the collision.

An 88-year-old Somerville woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in Mount Eliza earlier this month.

Emergency services were called to Wooralla Drive around 9:20am on Saturday 12 April, after reports a Honda Civic had lost control and struck a tree. The woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash.

She was airlifted to hospital but sadly later died.

Victoria Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
