Santa returns to Somerville for annual Christmas event
Somerville will celebrate its 5th annual Santa Comes to Somerville on Saturday 20 December, with Santa and his crew visiting three shopping precincts throughout the morning.
The route begins at the East Side precinct (Eramosa Road East and Frankston Flinders Road) from 10 am to 11 am, moves to Somerville Plaza between 11 am and 12 pm, and concludes at Somerville Central from 12 pm to 1 pm. Families can take photos with Santa, and children will receive free goodie bags.
The event is supported by volunteers with valid Working With Children Checks and is partly funded through a Mornington Peninsula Shire grant.
Window Wonderland showcases local businesses
The Christmas Window Wonderland competition runs alongside the Santa event, encouraging businesses to decorate their shopfronts and help build festive spirit across Somerville. Judging takes place from 1 to 15 December, with winners announced on 20 December.
