Major stores reopened on Monday evening after the Bentons Square fire destroyed a butcher’s shop and damaged neighbouring businesses.

The Bentons Square fire prompted the closure of the Dunns Road centre on Monday 26 October. Major stores resumed trading when the centre reopened at 5.30pm, according to a centre management update reported by RPP FM.

While the centre has reopened, the RPP FM update did not specify reopening dates for the damaged businesses.
