STPL News Seeks Interest in Proposed State Election Panel

STPL News is seeking expressions of interest in a proposed community panel series covering Hastings, Mornington, Nepean and Frankston ahead of the 2026 state election.

STPL News is exploring a community panel series ahead of the 2026 Victorian state election, focusing on Hastings, Mornington, Nepean and Frankston.

The series could bring together local residents, candidates and other guests to discuss election issues affecting the region. Members of the public may also have opportunities to ask questions.

Who can take part?

STPL News wants to hear from potential community panellists, guests, political candidates and officials, political experts and residents interested in asking a public question.

People with political affiliations can apply but must disclose them so STPL News can balance the panel as fairly as possible.

No final decision has been made. Expressions of interest will help determine whether the proposal attracts enough community support to proceed.

Complete the expression of interest form.
