A Dromana man has been charged and a Mornington woman released pending further enquiries after police seized drugs, vehicles, ammunition and allegedly stolen identity cards at a Cranbourne property.
Police called to Cranbourne property
Victoria Police say officers were called to an unoccupied property on Lochview Green, Cranbourne, about 7.30pm on Wednesday 18 March after reports of a man and woman behaving suspiciously.
Officers attended, located the pair at the address and took them into custody.
Drugs, vehicles and other items seized
Police allege a search of the property uncovered a Ford Falcon ute stolen in Endeavour Hills between 6 and 10 March, a Subaru WRX stolen in Patterson Lakes on 17 March, a Kia GT displaying allegedly stolen registration plates, and a Yamaha WR off-road motorcycle.
Officers also allegedly seized about 15 grams of methylamphetamine, about 50 ecstasy tablets, quantities of GHB and prescription medications, a large amount of allegedly stolen identity cards, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.
Dromana man charged, Mornington woman released
Police have charged a 33-year-old Dromana man with trafficking a drug of dependence, handling stolen goods and theft of a motor vehicle.
He was remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 19 March.
A 34-year-old Mornington woman was released pending further enquiries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
