One Dead After Two-Vehicle Collision in Rosebud

A man died after a two-vehicle collision in Rosebud on Sunday evening. Police have arrested one driver and are investigating.

A man has died and another has been arrested following a collision in Rosebud on Sunday, 16 August.

A man has died following a two-vehicle collision in Rosebud on Sunday evening.

Victoria Police said Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a vehicle allegedly crossed onto the wrong side of Jetty Road and collided with another vehicle about 5.20pm.

The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the first vehicle, a 62-year-old Rosebud man, was not injured and was arrested at the scene.

Police Appeal for Witnesses After Fatal Rosebud Crash

Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Police are particularly keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the incident or the vehicles involved in the lead-up to the collision.
