Rye, Victoria – 3 January 2025
The man was brought to shore, and CPR was administered; however, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has yet to be formally identified. While the exact circumstances surrounding the death are still under investigation, authorities are not treating it as suspicious.
Victoria Police will prepare a report for the coroner as part of the ongoing investigation.
