Christmas Day is here across the Mornington Peninsula and Frankston, with many council services closed for the public holiday.

Mornington Peninsula Shire Council offices closed from 2pm Wednesday 24 December and reopen Friday 2 January. Urgent matters can be reported on 1300 850 600. Mornington, Rye and Tyabb Resource Recovery Centres are closed on Christmas Day.

Frankston City Council Customer Service Centres closed from 3pm Wednesday 24 December and reopen Friday 2 January. The Civic Centre reopens from 8.30am, and the Langwarrin Service Centre from 9am on 2 January. FCC enquiries: 1300 322 322.
