
A 16-year-old boy is fighting for life after a motorcycle collided with a car in Langwarrin on Monday night.
Emergency services responded to the crash on Cranbourne-Frankston Road about 8.25pm.
The teenager suffered life-threatening injuries and paramedics transported him to hospital.
How the crash happened
Victoria Police said the motorcycle was travelling east along Cranbourne-Frankston Road when it collided with a Toyota Yaris.
Investigators believe the driver of the Toyota was turning right into a nearby car park when the collision occurred.
Police also allege the motorcycle was not using its lights at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Toyota stopped immediately and assisted at the scene.
Investigation underway
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police have urged anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from Cranbourne-Frankston Road around 8.25pm on Monday to come forward.
