Victoria Police are appealing for information as detectives investigate an alleged lewd act on a Mornington Peninsula bus involving a 17-year-old girl.
Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives said the incident occurred on the Route 785 bus travelling between Mornington and Frankston about 10.20pm on Thursday, 27 August.
Police allege an unknown man directed sexual activity towards the teenager while on board the bus.
The girl was not physically injured.
Police Release Images Following Bus Incident
Investigators have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their investigation into the incident.
Police describe the man as Caucasian, aged between 20 and 25, approximately 162 to 168 centimetres tall, with blonde hair parted in the middle.
At the time, he was wearing black jeans, a black shirt and a black Kathmandu puffer jacket with green lining.
Appeal For Information
Victoria Police issued the public appeal on Thursday, 24 September.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, recognises the man pictured or has information that could assist detectives is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report through Crime Stoppers Victoria.
