Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following two suspicious fires at a Dandenong South truck yard, which caused nearly $2 million in damages.
First Fire – 17 February
- Time: Around 1:30 am
- Location: Business on Kirkham Road
- Incident:
- Offenders arrived in a black Audi sedan
- Forced open the gate and set a semi-trailer cabin on fire
- One truck destroyed, two others damaged
Second Fire – 3 March
- Time: Around 1:20 am
- Incident:
- Offenders arrived in a black Ford sedan
- Cut the gate lock and used an accelerant to ignite a Scania prime mover
- Two more trucks caught fire
Police Appeal for Information
