Police are investigating after offenders allegedly used footpath pavers to smash the windows of 11 businesses along Ocean Beach Road in Sorrento. The attack has also renewed concerns about loose and uneven pavers along the shopping strip.

Frankston Mayor Kris Bolam has condemned the defacement of children’s play equipment at Kareela Reserve after political propaganda stickers were discovered. Council crews swiftly removed the material, warning that vandalism will not be tolerated and urging residents to report incidents.

Police are investigating multiple suspected arson fires lit in Rosebud and McCrae on 23 November. A 60-year-old man is assisting with inquiries.
