Dunkley MP Jodie Belyea says hard work, strong policies, and a great team were key to her successful re-election in the federal poll, having first won the seat in a by-election last year.

Belyea defeated former mayor Nathan Conroy in the 2023 Dunkley by-election and has now improved her margin in the full federal election.

“We called on 38,000 homes during the campaign,” she said.

Speaking with Brendan Telfer during an interview with RPP FM, she said:

“I made it my business to make sure I was speaking to as many individuals as possible at the doors, every day for months on end—building individual relationships, listening to people, and making sure I remained positive and wasn’t throwing shots at anyone.

“I’ve had lots of feedback that I ran a really positive campaign and held onto my integrity.”
