Mornington Shire Deputy Mayor, Paul Pingiaro says there has been a balanced and supportive reaction to his motion that ended the Mornington peninsula shire councils Emergency Climate Plan on Tuesday night.
He says there has been some push back but the majority of residents understand that the intent of the motion was not climate denial by a reset of budget priorities – the need of good governance and fiscal responsibility.
