A Victoria Police senior constable has been charged with sexual exposure following an internal investigation.
Police said the 40-year-old officer was charged with one count over an alleged incident on 24 April. The officer was on duty at the time, but police allege he was not wearing a uniform or performing police duties.
The officer was charged on summons and is expected to appear before a magistrates’ court at a later date.
Victoria Police identified the officer only as a senior constable from its southern region. The media release did not name the officer or disclose the police station, division or specific service area in which he worked.
The charge remains before the courts.
