The Somerville Business Group will host a community clean-up day in Somerville on 3 May and is encouraging locals to get involved.
Community members are asked to register in advance, with registrations helping organisers plan for the day, manage catering and ensure insurance coverage. A sausage sizzle has also been organised.

People who cannot attend on the day are still encouraged to take a bag to their local park and collect rubbish in their area.
Local businesses are also being encouraged to clean any graffiti from their shopfronts ahead of the event.
