Somerville Business Group To Host Community Clean-Up Day On 3 May

Somerville Business Group will host a community clean-up day on 3 May, with locals encouraged to register in advance to assist with planning, catering and insurance coverage.

The Somerville Business Group will host a community clean-up day in Somerville on 3 May and is encouraging locals to get involved.

Community members are asked to register in advance, with registrations helping organisers plan for the day, manage catering and ensure insurance coverage. A sausage sizzle has also been organised.

The Somerville Business Group Inc (SBG) has organised a community clean-up day for the 3rd of May 2026.

People who cannot attend on the day are still encouraged to take a bag to their local park and collect rubbish in their area.

Local businesses are also being encouraged to clean any graffiti from their shopfronts ahead of the event.
