Lyndhurst, Victoria — Homicide Squad detectives have charged three additional individuals in connection with the fatal stabbing of 24-year-old Timothy Leek in Lyndhurst earlier this month.

An 18-year-old man from Seaford and an 18-year-old man from Cranbourne North were apprehended early this morning at a hotel in Box Hill. Subsequently, a 17-year-old boy from Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs was arrested in the Dandenong area. All three have been charged with murder and armed robbery. The two adult males are scheduled to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today, while the 17-year-old will face a children’s court at a later date.

These arrests follow the earlier charging of an 18-year-old man from Narre Warren with murder on 22 March. He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 28 July.

The charges stem from an incident on 14 March around 8:30 pm, when a group of males were reportedly involved in a confrontation near Society Avenue, Lyndhurst. Emergency services arrived to find Mr. Leek with serious stab wounds; he was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities believe that the individuals involved were known to each other.

Investigations are ongoing. Detectives urge anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses relevant information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
