Secret Stash of Stolen Goods and Weapons Uncovered in Seaford Business

Victoria Police have uncovered a hidden stash of stolen goods, drugs, and weapons behind a secret door in a Seaford business. A 53-year-old man has been charged and will face Frankston Magistrates’ Court in April.

SEAFORD – Police have uncovered a hidden cache of stolen goods, drugs, and weapons behind a secret door in a Seaford business, leading to the arrest of a local man.

Detectives executed a search warrant at a business premises on Austin Road just after 7pm on 10 March, where they allegedly discovered a concealed door behind a row of lockers. Behind it, officers reportedly found a vast haul of illicit items, including cigarettes, tobacco, vapes, and drugs—valued in the millions.

The investigation also led to the seizure of two firearms and multiple prohibited weapons.Following inquiries, police arrested a 53-year-old Seaford man in Dandenong on Monday afternoon. He has since been charged with multiple offences, including:

  • Possessing a handgun
  • Trafficking and possessing methylamphetamine
  • Trafficking and possessing cannabis
  • Handling stolen goods
  • Possessing prohibited weapons, including a taser and an extendable baton

The man has been bailed to appear before Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 14 April.
