Three people were hospitalised after two separate watercraft incidents at Safety Beach, Victoria, within an hour. Authorities urge caution as investigations continue.

Three people have been hospitalised following two separate incidents at Safety Beach on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

The ABC News reported that the first incident occurred around 2:00 pm on Saturday, involving a man in his 20s who was transported to Frankston Hospital in a stable condition.

Approximately 45 minutes later, a “watercraft collision” resulted in two more people requiring medical attention. One was taken to Frankston Hospital, while the other was airlifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Emergency services, including lifesaving dinghies and jet skis, were seen assisting at the scene. Ambulances were also present at the boat ramp.

Authorities have not released further details on the conditions of those involved.

Authorities are urging the public to exercise caution when engaging in water sports and to remain vigilant to ensure safety.

Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
