Frankston Police Investigate Vulgar Exposure in Seaford

Victoria Police are investigating a case of obscene exposure involving a 7-year-old boy in Seaford. Detectives seek public assistance to identify a man described as 60 to 70 years old with grey curly hair.

Seaford, VICVictoria Police are investigating a disturbing incident of wilful and obscene exposure involving a young child in Seaford last month.

Detectives from the Frankston Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team are leading the inquiry into the event, which took place on Tuesday, 12 December 2024, around 7 pm. A 7-year-old boy riding his bicycle through a reserve on Weatherston Road was confronted by an unidentified man who allegedly exposed his genitals.

Victoria Police have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The Frankston police are searching for a man described as being between 60 and 70 years old, with grey, curly hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing navy-blue trackpants, runners, and a dark grey jacket.

Authorities are urging local residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.

To enhance community safety, parents and guardians are encouraged to reinforce personal safety guidelines with their children, including:

  • Staying alert and aware of their surroundings while outdoors.
