Victoria Police have disrupted a significant drug trafficking operation in Frankston after executing a search warrant on Addicott Street on Friday, 10 January.
During the operation, officers from the Mornington Divisional Response Unit uncovered a large cache of illicit substances, including a commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, MDMA, and 1,4-Butanediol. Additional items seized included cannabis, prescription medication, a firearm, and more than $30,000 in cash, suspected to be proceeds of crime.
A 58-year-old Frankston man was arrested and charged with serious offences, including drug trafficking and firearm possession. He remains in custody and is set to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 7 April.
A 33-year-old man from Frankston was also detained and is expected to face charges on summons.
