In Saturday’s RPP FM broadcast match, Long Island proved too strong for Somerville in a high-scoring contest. Auden McKenna smashed 66 off just 29 balls, while Zac Wilson fell just short of a century, scoring 97 from 72 balls to set up Long Island’s total of 225.
Somerville struggled in their chase and were bowled out for 187, with Sam Holland–Burch leading the charge for Long Island, taking an impressive 4/23 to destroy the middle order.
