Frankston City Council says Tennille Bradley has officially started as its new chief executive officer, with her first week spent meeting staff and getting across Council services and the local community.

Bradley’s appointment is a milestone for the organisation. Council previously confirmed she is the first female CEO in its history, and said she would join in mid-January 2026 following a Special Council Meeting on 10 November 2025.

Appointment confirmed in November

Council previously confirmed Tennille Bradley’s appointment following a Special Council Meeting on 10 November 2025.

Council announced Bradley’s appointment in a media release published on 12 November 2025.

The release said she joined Frankston City from the City of Greater Geelong, where Council said she had been part of the executive leadership team.

Background: City of Greater Geelong executive role

Council said Bradley is Executive Director Placemaking at the City of Greater Geelong, overseeing a $26.5 million budget and 200 staff, with responsibilities including planning, growth, and economic and cultural development.

The release said she has worked at Greater Geelong since 2022, holding senior roles before moving into her current position as part of an executive leadership team formed at the start of 2024.

Interim CEO period

Council acknowledged Cam Arullanantham, who served as interim CEO from July following the departure of former CEO Phil Cantillon.

Council said Arullanantham would return to his substantive executive role once Bradley commenced in January 2026.
