Mornington Peninsula, Victoria – Disturbing new footage released by the Farm Transparency Project has once again shone a light on the harrowing conditions at the Mount Eliza property owned by disgraced former racehorse trainer, Maxine Fraser. Viewer discretion is advised.
The video shows starving, injured, and dead horses – images that animal advocates say confirm what they have been warning about for months. Locals have dubbed the property the “Equine House of Horrors.”

Foals Born Into Danger
The latest video includes distressing accounts of newborn foals facing fatal danger within minutes of birth.
On Monday 15 September, locals monitoring the property reported the birth of a colt they named Chief. Within minutes of being born, stallions in the paddock set upon the foal, knocking him down and attempting to stomp on him.
By the next day, the foal and his mother were missing.

Later that night, investigators reported finding two dead horses with horrific wounds.

The foal remains unaccounted for.
Animal advocates estimate that between 10 and 12 horses have died on the property in the past year, some from starvation and malnutrition, others from violent clashes between stallions and mares.
Protesters Maintain Pressure
Earlier this month, STPL News reported that the RSPCA executed a warrant at the Mt Eliza property as part of its investigation. Despite speculation online, no animals were removed.

Protest organiser Carly Wines, who has led weekly demonstrations outside the property, said her group will not stop until the horses are safe.
“We’ve got a number of horses missing at the moment. At times we see three or four come out that we haven’t seen for weeks. It’s really frustrating to not have full transparency over where they are or what happens to them when they go missing,” she said.
“When you think of all the animals that have passed away here in silence and without a face, it’s disgusting to think that it’s been allowed to go on,” Wines added.

Wines has vowed that protests will continue every Sunday until the horses are rescued, no matter how long it takes.
Growing Demands on RSPCA
The new video adds further weight to the calls for urgent intervention, with residents and campaigners questioning why, despite repeated evidence and now an executed warrant, the horses remain in Fraser’s care.
“This is an ongoing animal welfare disaster,” one local resident said.
“The authorities promised action, but nothing has changed. Horses are still suffering and dying.”

I just cannot fathom why this evil disgusting woman has not been charged with the worst animal cruelty offences and in turn jailed for the rest of her life. She is a repeat offender and this will be the only way to ensure the safety of any animals in her vicinity.
