Victoria Police are searching for a missing Highett woman last seen on Friday morning, with concerns held for her welfare due to a medical condition requiring medication.
Carmel, 59, was last seen on Fox Close about 8.40am on Friday, 13 March. Police said she is deaf and non-verbal, and that both officers and family are concerned for her welfare.
She is described as Caucasian, approximately 162cm tall, with short grey hair. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeve beige shirt, black leggings and black and white runners, and may also be carrying a blue handbag.
Police said Carmel is known to visit Melbourne by train and frequents parks and playgrounds. An image has been released in the hope someone can provide information about her whereabouts.
