Victoria Police have cordoned off Parson Street in Rye after two bodies were discovered inside a home early Monday morning.

- Police responded to reports of gunshots shortly after 4:00 am.
- A man and a woman were found inside the home with gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by police and paramedics to resuscitate them, both died at the scene.
- Neighbours reported seeing a male fleeing the property, and police are now searching for him along with others believed to have been present during the incident.
