Body Found in Seaford Beach: Investigation Ongoing

A woman's body was found off Seaford Beach near Melbourne, prompting an ongoing investigation as authorities seek to determine the circumstances of her death.

Seaford – A woman’s body was discovered floating in the waters off Seaford Beach, a suburb of Melbourne, early Friday morning.

Emergency services responded to the scene near Nepean Highway around 6:55 am after the discovery. The identity of the woman remains unknown, and authorities have yet to determine if the death is suspicious. A post-mortem examination is planned to establish the cause of death.

In a related development, a secondary crime scene has been established on Frankston beach, located south of Seaford Beach. Various items were found there, and investigators are working to determine if they are connected to the woman’s death.

7NEWS.com.au has further reported that blood was found on some sand at the beach. Detectives were also seen door-knocking nearby houses as part of their investigation.
