$5 Million Allocated to Upgrade Dallas Brooks Reserve in Mornington

RPP FM reports that the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, and Communications has announced a significant investment of nearly $5 million for the upgrade of Dallas Brooks Reserve in Mornington. The funding aims to enhance the soccer pitches at the reserve and increase opportunities for interschool competitions.

Dallas Brooks Reserve is one of the main sporting reserves servicing the township of Mornington and is home to the Mornington Soccer Club and the Beleura Junior Sports Club.

This project is one of 26 initiatives being rolled out across the state, as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve local sports facilities and foster community engagement. The upgrade at Dallas Brooks Reserve will not only provide better facilities for soccer players but also support the growth of sports programs for students across the region.

This funding marks a crucial step in the continued development of sporting infrastructure in Mornington, with the improvements expected to provide long-lasting benefits to local schools and sports clubs alike.
