The 2025 Frankston Waterfront Festival has been hailed a resounding success, attracting over 45,000 visitors across two days of live music, entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities.

Held on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 February, the annual festival transformed the Frankston Pier Promenade into a vibrant hub of activity. Hosted by Frankston City Council, the event featured a stellar lineup of performers, amusement rides, interactive demonstrations, and an impressive fireworks display.

Festival-goers were treated to headline performances from Australian favourites Sneaky Sound System and Pierce Brothers, alongside a diverse lineup of local artists. Garden bars, food trucks, and global street eats ensured there was something for every palate, while the Rotary Duck Race and Hoop City basketball sessions kept attendees entertained throughout the weekend.

Officers from Frankston and Carrum Downs police were in attendance, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. In a social media post, police described the festival as “a fun experience for all, with over 45K people in attendance.

One of the festival’s biggest highlights was the spectacular Saturday night fireworks display, which lit up the waterfront, drawing thousands of spectators. The celebrations continued at the Moon Dog Beach Club after-party, rounding out a fantastic weekend of summer festivities.
